This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration it can suddenly lead to a significantly more 'a rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open and turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00488 Possible Causes:
00488 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00488 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
