When you open exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit . On the other hand fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00487 Possible Causes:
00487 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
