The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more data bus powertrain, implausible message from combi instrument . So for next engine torque reduction, open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00487 Possible Causes:
00487 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00487 Code
- Inspect all the connections low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
