The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low and throttle actuator control motor, control circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00485 Possible Causes:
00485 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00485 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
