Staring in engine accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit and wait then exhaust pressure sensor is the final reason of the code. |
00485 Possible Causes:
00485 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00485 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel level sensor 2, circuit low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
