The problem is about exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground . On the other hand outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
00481 Possible Causes:
00481 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections cannot activate controller reply function due to another error with equal priority
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
