Diagnosing engine bar with please check dtc memory of transmission ecu It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit high or change barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00481 Possible Causes:
00481 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00481 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
