When you open data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu) the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), interruption/short-circuit after mass or change power supply, voltage high voltage will delay your vw fault. |
00480 Possible Causes:
00480 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00480 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift up/down wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
