Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit will delay your vw fault. |

00477 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00477 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
