00473 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance also charge pressure fan relay (j712), open is the final reason of the code. |
00473 Possible Causes:
00473 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00473 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
