Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance and secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00471 Possible Causes:
00471 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00471 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
