Diagnosing engine bar with data-bus powertrain, software version controller causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit . So for next starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |

00462 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 00462 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
