The problem is about data bus powertrain, missing message from central electronics causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit and secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
00461 Possible Causes:
00461 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00461 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of ecu number 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
