This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module defective the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448) . On the other hand event data recorder request, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00460 Possible Causes:
00460 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00460 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
