This code were stamped on VW Engine case accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation is the final reason of the code. |
00456 Possible Causes:
00456 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00456 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
