00446 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low and wait then please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu is the final reason of the code. |
00446 Possible Causes:
00446 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00446 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
