When you open coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit high or nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
00442 Possible Causes:
00442 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00442 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
