00433 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high you can see the direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault.

00433 Possible Causes:

00433 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 00433 Code

  • Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
