Diagnosing engine bar with activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground or change low pressure fuel sensor sensor (g410), implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
00428 Possible Causes:
00428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 00428 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
