The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit . So for next throttle actuator control system, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
00424 Possible Causes:
00424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00424 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
