The problem is about exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor coolant pump control, circuit range / performance . On the other hand oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00423 Possible Causes:
00423 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 00423 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
