The problem is about ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake signal for back-up lights, short to ground . So for next generator shut-off, open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00421 Possible Causes:
00421 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00421 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
