00409 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'h' primary control, short to plus or change cylinder 3 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
00409 Possible Causes:
00409 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00409 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
