00409 Description And Summary : |

When you open glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit or change air leak between throttle body and intake valves is the final reason of the code. |
00409 Possible Causes:
00409 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00409 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
