00408 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly it can suddenly lead to a significantly more oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit or change data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump is the final reason of the code. |
00408 Possible Causes:
00408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00408 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of central electric ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
