00407 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so hydraulic pressure sensor 2 too low also control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
00407 Possible Causes:
00407 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00407 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
