The problem is about starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system control module defective and wait then camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
00407 Possible Causes:
00407 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00407 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel fired heater, disabled
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
