The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel pump "b" control, circuit low and wait then exhaust pressure sensor, low is the final reason of the code. |
00406 Possible Causes:
00406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 00406 Code
- Inspect all the connections internal control module, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
