This code were stamped on VW Engine case cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible and coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
00405 Possible Causes:
00405 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 00405 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
