Staring in engine glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit interruption and wait then valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), interruption/short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
00405 Possible Causes:
00405 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00405 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
