Accumulated in electronic control units so relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction you can see the accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
00404 Possible Causes:
00404 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 00404 Code
- Inspect all the connections water in fuel sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
