00403 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system load signal stuck off or change ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
00403 Possible Causes:
00403 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00403 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
