This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high or clutch pressure, adaptation at limit is the final reason of the code. |
00402 Possible Causes:
00402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00402 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
