Staring in engine glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), upper limit exceeded and turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
00401 Possible Causes:
00401 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00401 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
