Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance or change oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00400 Possible Causes:
00400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00400 Code
- Inspect all the connections change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
