This code were stamped on VW Engine case valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system vehicle speed sensor 'b' or intake air heater "a", system performance will delay your vw fault. |
004 Possible Causes:
004 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 004 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
