Staring in engine exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so system too lean at higher load, bank 2 you can see the injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
00398 Possible Causes:
00398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low

- Inspect all the connections cylinder 3 above knock threshold
