Accumulated in electronic control units so charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more control module defective and wait then coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00397 Possible Causes:
00397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00397 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
