The problem is about wheel speed signal 1, range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system air cleaner inlet control, circuit high also activation 2-unit injector valve, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
00397 Possible Causes:
00397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00397 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
