00396 Description And Summary : |

When you open 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2 and wait then fuel injection valve 3 (n368), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00396 Possible Causes:
00396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00396 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
