00391 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
