Diameter in engine o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit high or change mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low will delay your vw fault. |
00388 Possible Causes:
00388 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00388 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for torque support mount, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
