Diagnosing engine bar with generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic also pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00387 Possible Causes:
00387 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00387 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
