Diagnosing engine bar with temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control or change fuel supply heater, control circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
00387 Possible Causes:
00387 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00387 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter interlock, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
