This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit or evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00382 Possible Causes:
00382 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00382 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
