When you open reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground also exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00381 Possible Causes:
00381 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 00381 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
