Staring in engine sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation also o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00379 Possible Causes:
00379 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00379 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
