This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system signal line for fuel pump electronics, electrical malfunction . On the other hand reductant temperature sensor, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00379 Possible Causes:
00379 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00379 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft position signal output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
