This code were stamped on VW Engine case injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation is the final reason of the code. |
00377 Possible Causes:
00377 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 00377 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 internal resistance too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
