The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit or hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
00373 Possible Causes:
00373 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00373 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
