The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction you can see the friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
00358 Possible Causes:
00358 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00358 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
