This code were stamped on VW Engine case ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of adr control module or change a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
00357 Possible Causes:
00357 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00357 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
