The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range it can suddenly lead to a significantly more actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit high or sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
00357 Possible Causes:
00357 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00357 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
