Diameter in engine valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit or pressure control solenoid 5 (n233), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
00349 Possible Causes:
00349 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00349 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
