This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector cylinder 13 (n390), open circuit you can see the leak in air intake system will delay your vw fault. |
00346 Possible Causes:
00346 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 00346 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
