This something to do with the intake camshaft timing a/c request a, circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after mass you can see the glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00346 Possible Causes:
00346 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 00346 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
