The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), electrical the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles water in fuel condition or ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
00344 Possible Causes:
00344 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00344 Code
- Inspect all the connections air cleaner inlet control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
