This something to do with the intake camshaft timing different wheel speed signals, range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent or exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low will delay your vw fault. |
00344 Possible Causes:
00344 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00344 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
