This code were stamped on VW Engine case throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed reductant temperature sensor, circuit high or change exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
00343 Possible Causes:
00343 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00343 Code
- Inspect all the connections manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
