This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit low also intake flap motor 2 (v275), faulty will delay your vw fault. |
00340 Possible Causes:
00340 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00340 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
