Accumulated in electronic control units so charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich also linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00338 Possible Causes:
00338 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00338 Code
- Inspect all the connections control unit programming, programming not finished
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
