Diagnosing engine bar with turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 you can see the oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00336 Possible Causes:
00336 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 00336 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
